RCVS Practice Standards Scheme

Dundas Veterinary Group is proud to be a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons’ Practice Standards Scheme.

What does this mean?

As a General Practice level accredited practice we have passed an inspection, done every 4 years, focusing on a range of areas, including clinical governance, facilities, hygiene and health and safety to name just a few of the many criteria.

This gives you, the client:

  • Peace of mindrcvs_accreditation
  • Quality Care for your animals
  • Assured Standards

The scheme is a voluntary initiative. We are one of the few practices in Edinburgh participating so look for the logo.

Dundas Veterinary Group is also an Approved Veterinary Nurse Training Practice.

rachelAs a Training Practice we undertake to provide clinical training for our student nurses. This means that we are inspected by a Veterinary Nurse Approved Centre, responsible to the RCVS Photo of nurse training here Awarding Body, to ensure that the practice meets the Standards necessary to provide a suitable environment for training. This together with the accreditation of General Practice illustrates our commitment to education and training of all of our staff.
